KOI FISH: Discovering my Asian roots through the calligrapher's brush. Mixing hard edges with soft wet areas, adding to the flow and life of these fish. Having an Asian background, I often look to the East for inspiration. Experimenting with the surface of paper and water, the Koi pass through, over and under it.
